Just a reminder that the last race in the series is this Saturday, 8th February, at the Marches School, Oswestry, SY11 2AP. Further details can be found on the website: www.northwalesxc.comThe ladies race starts at 2pm, men at 2-45pm If the course is the same as previous years, ladies do 1 small loop, 1 large loop, men 1 small, and 2 large loops....large loops involve some hurdling over two post and rail fences!...great fun, I can assure you. Post race, there will be the presentation of prizes, and refreshments are available. Gazebo will be there, but if too windy, it will not be erected. Does anyone know where the long table is? Please post if you are coming, thanks

Here's the results:
"The Marches School in Oswestry was the venue for the final round of the North Wales Cross Country League, where the hilly, muddy course and inclement weather made the race a real test of running strength and resolve. In the ladies race Alice Robinson finished in 17th place, despite losing a trainer in the mud, followed by debutant Aylish Franklin (26th) and Grace Hart (57th). Tattenhall's men had their best result of the season, securing their place in Division 1 with strong performances from their top runners. Ali McNay continued his superb form since return from injury to finish in 15th place, ahead of Peter Taylor in 18th. Rob Arden moved up the field to finish 20th, followed by Andy Sudlow (23rd) and Simon Ellis (33rd), with the Tattenhall contingent completed by Martin Durrant (91st) and Charlie Eldred (99th)."

Results for the final race at Oswestry are now on the website www.northwalesxc.com/. Men were 3rd on the day and Ladies 2nd of the Div 2 teams. Looks like both are mid-table for the season.
