We've been asked by Central Committee, to undertake our annual clear up of leaves/tidy up the car park at the Club.
The best date seems to be Sunday 8th December, to avoid clashes with races.It should only take an hour or so... how about meeting at 10am? I'll bring along some tools/wheelbarrow/hedgecutter/strimmer/electric leaf sucker etc, but if you could bring some sturdy brushes,spades,additional wheelbarrows, that would help...the leaves get well and truly stuck to the tarmac, after cars have compressed them.There is an overhanging branch at the car park entrance that needs some surgery!
Last year, we did a run after the work...10 miles of road, but any other ideas?
